The 2008 MERIT Symposium is dedicated to showcasing the research of Engineering Graduate Research students.

Industry guests will be invited to attend from 4.30pm to meet graduate research students to discuss their cutting edge research. Projects will be displayed in a poster exhibition, providing guests with an opportunity to talk to our future engineering leaders.

Symposium Program:

1.00 – 1.45pm Lunch
1.45 - 2.00pm Welcome from the Dean, Professor Iven Mareels
2.00 – 4.30pm Graduate Research Student Presentations
4.30 – 5.45pm INDUSTRY PROGRAM BEGINS
Graduate Research Student Poster Session (with refreshments)
5.45 – 6.00 pm MERIT Awards for Best Poster & Best Presentation
6.00 – 7.00pm Biomedical Engineering and Computational Physiology: Challenges and Opportunites - Prof Peter J Hunter, Bioengineering Institute, University of Auckland
